Sample project · Living room fit study

One room. From a fit problem to a clear plan.

See the work, open the room, and download the result. These are captures of the actual planner using the same sample throughout.

A manual planning example with assumed dimensions, not a customer case study or an AI-generated renovation. Doors, windows and building services are not modeled in this fit study.

01Start with the room you have.

This sample is 4.57 × 4.27 m, with a 2.13 m sofa and a 1.22 m coffee table. The starting arrangement puts the table through the sofa’s footprint. The fit review catches it.

02Fix the clash before choosing a look.

Moving the coffee table 81 cm creates a 61 cm gap from the sofa. The room and furniture sizes stay the same. The corrected arrangement has no footprint conflicts in this model.

03Keep two options. Compare the trade-off.

Option A faces into the room. Option B turns the same seating group through 90 degrees. Compare them at the same scale and keep the arrangement that suits your room’s real entrances and windows.

04Leave with a decision you can explain.

The downloadable sample brief brings together the measured plan, the two options, the furniture sizes and what still needs checking on site. The room backup also opens in the planner.
