From the street, the most striking change is the wooden arched porch surround that gives the central door a strong, tactile focal point. The door itself keeps a warm wood tone but is now framed by vertical slatted wood that introduces depth and shadow where the original entry was recessed and plain.
The front yard is reorganized into a planted arrival sequence: a curved bluestone walkway leads from driveway to stoop, low gray stone curbing forms semicircular beds, and symmetrical potted evergreens flank the step. Green-painted window trim and a mounted mailbox and light create coordinated accents against the lighter façade.
